What kind of dogs are Silkypup and Prince?

I recently started doing a series of realistic portraits of the LLL characters, but I'm not sure what kind of dogs to use as reference for Silkypup and Prince.

I think Prince is clearly a golden retriever or labrador, but Silkypup is a mystery to me. After looking at different kinds of lap dogs, I think a cavalier king charles spaniel comes close, but not entirely.

What do you all think? I'd love to hear your ideas!

Prince

Maybe Prince is a Maremma sheepdog. He would certainly be the height of one.

Please Help!

Mistress I have a web pic of me. I would be honored if you drew me as LLL. I never got to wear the dress either.
Does anyone know where I can get a dress similar to the herion? I'd like to post it on the net on myspace!Smiling

I'm sorry I've had to put a freeze on free requests years ago, but if you're interested in a paid commission just let me know.

A LLL costume was made, but it doesn't look too authentic and you'll probably have a hard time finding a seller. You're best bet would be to keep an eye on eBay or make one yourself. ^^

I think that Silkypup is a Coton something. They are from france! Most are white, but they made her pink to be colorful about it. Look up the rare breeds of dogs at Pet Smart! You'll be amazed to what you discover! I found this out by visting a friend who had a dog magazine from Pet Smart. I think this because their direct pics of puppies look just like Silypup!

I found the whole name for the breed! It is Coton de Tulear. You can read more about them here!
