It is very nicely drawn and I like the colors, but I'm not a fan of the style, I don't like the way Lady looks. I'm not sure how to explain it. She doesn't look, well, like Lady, like herself.
And as for Disney, sometimes I really don't like them. They used to make good movies, back when Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs came out and they had a lot of other good ones. But one thing I dislike is the continuations. Cinderella II & III, Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Magical World, Little Mermaid II, and I hear they are working on number 3.
Why can't they just leave the classical stories alone, instead of dragging them on? And even the ones that haven't been passed down through the years, told to children before bed. Even with the ones that Disney thinks up, why carry on the story, again and again?
And I suppose it isn't only Disney that does it, a lot of movies are carried on. Like, the Land Before Time movies. The first one was cute, but they made like, 7-10 other ones!! Yeah okay ^^; [/minirant]
LOL! Disney was going to make A Sailor Moon Movie, but look what happened because toy companies and so-forth got too greedy! So, Noako Tucheuci changed her mind and kept it in Japan. I don't know- Disney is way too greedy!!! And their toy comapanies want too much money on these best watched shows. I honestly think Disney would cause a diaster!

Gosh, I never knew that was the reason they cancelled it! It's true Disney has been acting too much like a money-making machine, but on the other hand... I find it kinda hard to object to a new flood of LLL merchandise.

DreamWorks would do good too! And I'm sort of working on a liveaction script with new characters. You'll see!! Besides the creator has rights with other companies!
DreamWorks would be fine as well, but as far as 2D character design goes they seem to have deliberately stepped away from the cuter Disney look. On the other hand, it could be interesting to see LLL with a more grown up design.
But if it would be live-action, it probably wouldn't matter that much who made it... maybe they could get Peter Jackson's WETA workshop to bring the pixietails and comb gnomes to life... and the fluffy trees, and the cool magic castle with looking room..!
