I agreee! Never rush great artists. It's like when the Smurfs rushed for Poet to write a poem about each and every one of them. There was 99 other smurfs! Talk about peer pressure!!
I think Pat Paris is an excelent artits. Every illustrator has is own style, I have mine, Maria Gamiere has hers. If you look at the children's books from today , or the cartoons on tv, you'll see some drawings are horrible!
Have you look at the Pat Paris's illustrations from "The Golden Ball"? . They'are beautifull!
O.k! Who drew these pictures? Were they in a hurry or something? These I'm sorry looked rushed and clearly can't draw LLL very well. What do you think:(
The illustrator is Pat Paris. Artists usually are under a lot of pressure to get the work done fast, but aside from that it's hard to approach Maria Gamiere's level of excellence.
Artists also have ups and downs. I still think it looks good, but still, it might not have been a good day for her. Besides, I dont see anything terrible about this picture.

I just erased the Dutch and translated it as well as I could... which could be grueling at times. ^^; I have no idea who made the art though.
PS: Did you intend to post this under a different pic? I've noticed some comments seem to end up in the wrong place somehow.
