Site Growth & Statistics Page?

Hi Manon!

I saw you've added another LLL desktop, and of the Duchess. I'm a bit behind in my Desktop efforts, but I've just sent the finished Desktop Icons to you, so I hope you got those..

Anyhow.. I noticed you are now only hosting desktops that are of the size 1024x768, due to lack of space.

Have the site grown so much that you have to cut back on some image sizes? Maybe it'd be nice with some kind of statistics page somewhere?

Otherwise, I'll remind all other fans that visit this page to if possible show your appreciation by donating money to support the future growth of this fabulous LLL site ! If we all donate a little, it'll very easily grow into a bigger total sum Smiling

Hi Mira!

I just managed to clear up enough space to put the desktop wallpapers and icons on GeoCities, so now the other sizes are available for download as well. Thanks again for contributing those! Smiling

I still need to see what I can do about stats, but the website is currently about 34 MB. The thing is that once I make the maximum image dimensions larger, they immediately take up a whole lot more webspace - also where image resolution is concerned (especially with comic scans). So to be able to post images at full size resolution, I'd probable need to upgrade to at least 100 MB or so.

I pay for my webspace through PayPal on a yearly basis, so all PayPal donations would directly add to my balance and help to cover current or future webspace costs. I'll see if I can make some kind of counter to keep track of how much I'd need for a certain amount of webspace for a certain amount of time. But indeed, donations need not be big. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tight on webspace again

I got lucky and my webspace was upgraded to 100 MB! However, the LLL site has grown to take up 52 MB and taking my own site into account I have a little under 18 MB left.

I thought that was enough, but my system mailed me to say I was running out of space. Apparently it needs 20% of free space to run or something. ^^;

Anyway, I'll see if I can clear up some room, so hopefully I'll be able to post more content later!

Safe on webspace for quite a while

As you all noticed I moved this site to a new host with 1 gig of webspace, that should be enough for now! Eye-wink

The webspace is about $40 a year. It's not a whole lot, but considering that I'm just a student, all donations are welcome! ^^;
